I'm not going to get into a philosophical debate about this, but abadonware is a bit iffy. Please don't post links to any here.
Apart from other legal issues about this kind of thing, the Finnish laws are a bit weird about user-submitted content (including links), so we have to play it safe.

Historically speaking, there would never have been an EoB series if it weren't for Dungeon Master. DM is/was the primordial archetype of this particular species of first-person real-time dungeon crawler. But of course, earlier archetypes led directly to DM - in a chain that reaches far backwards into the digital mists...
