Sometimes I think it's funny to imagine what's going through the minds of my characters in the game...
Here's a relatively common situation:
We've just solved some tricky puzzles; found some secret treasures; fought hoards of monsters with skill and finesse. The heroes seem smart and strong and powerful. Finally, it's time to unlock the door to claim the big prize... but someone fumbles with the key and ends up throwing it at the wall instead of unlocking the door.
In real life, I can only imagine that I'd have to be extremely frustrated about something to end up throwing my keys at my front door instead of unlocking it. I just think it's funny to imagine what might cause characters in the game to do some of the things that they do.
Expert warriors and thinkers - but with frustration issues?

To expand on that, the parking spot in front of my previous girlfriend's apartment was right next to a sidewalk sewer drain. Every time I left I was afraid of fumbling my keys and dropping them down that roster. With dungeons having tons of water drainage, dropping a key item into one would be a permanent fear.karadoc wrote:Sometimes I think it's funny to imagine what's going through the minds of my characters in the game...

Oh wow...
One could make a surface on the drains in LoG2, and check if any items placed on one were small enough to slip through the grate, and have them fall to the floor below.
