i got the gate open, and i pressed the secret button in walls of one of the areas blocked by gates, but the door doesn't seem to open, i seem to just keep summoning more legionaries

watch what the secret buttons actually do and think about why there are non stop summoning legionaries

Open the three gates, lure the Legionaires into the three rooms. There you go, monster zoo, all three skellies in nice little cages.
