Level 9 - the 4 alcoves at the end

Hey, anyone know what to put in there?
It clicks when I put a key into the "Unraveller of mysteries" alcove but I really have no clue what to put in the other alcoves (English not being my mother tongue).
Anyone with a hint?

Found that "Tear of the Land" is a rock. I did the key one and now the rock, but I cant figure out the rest. Anyone else know the solution?

Games bane with head of steel - I was thinking an axe, but doesnt work.
Severed Dread - thought a skull, but cant find one to try.

Isn't there a skull in the 9th level? I went through 9 and 8 and cant find one. Daaaaamn.

I don't have a rock either. Left my sling and all ammo at level 5.
Walkabout gives you a rock at lvl6
