Spawning more monsters.

Hello everyone. I have completed Grimrock 2 and I think it's a fantastic game and environment. Even though I have completed it I like to wander about in all the levels and I wish the monsters etc would keep spawning for a sort of everlasting fight. Does anyone know any way to introduce code to carry on spawning the monsters when the game is almost over, i.e. before taking one of the two ending options. It's a lonely world without them. Thanks for reading......Gary.

There are several respawn triggers everywhere in the game i.e. inside the Hub or the Mines. Monsters can get spawned pretty much everywhere including the dungeons.

The Herder's Den was my favorite place to pharm exp (ssh, dont tell minmay) since the mob's respawn "forever" - until you killed the final Spore. Other than that, you have to rely on triggers and general "respawn" locations. The Pyramid is a popular place; the snakes respawn every so often.
There is a general "soft cap" in the game anyway, so taking advantage of Spawns is quite limited in its effectiveness. Characters generally cap out at level 16 or 17, with the exception of the Farmer class who can reach level 20 before the exp requirements become unreasonable.
There are a few options for spawning monsters but when you level up the main thing you get is the extra skill point, so might as well just spawn a book that provides that extra skill point: spawn("tome_wisdom")
Of course, leveling up also gives you attribute points, so you can just use Alchemy or spawn Potions that grant Attribute bonuses.
Happy Hunting!

You could also try some custom mods.
