Level 3 golden lock

I can't seem to find the key that's supposed to open golden lock near the staircase leading to level 4.
I visited the secret room with 2 plants and killed all spiders I found yet there was no key in any of them...
Any suggestions? Help?

Hint: Maybe something swallowed it ...
And if the hint doesn't help you:
It is droppped by a mob in the 'spider' zone.

Unfortunately
The problem is I walked every corridor twice, killed all spiders, rested to lure any eventual strays. When that didn't work I even went to slime dungeon and had a nice long nap there, returned and searched lv3 again - still no key...
Guess I'll just ignore it

Turn your light off, it helps see shiny objects.

I'm sorry for you, but anyway you didn't miss anything you'll regret later (except if there's an achievement for this on steam).

I too have this problem .. have searched the entire dungeon 3 times now ... think this must be an occasional bug?

I had the same problem. You just have to find one last spider. I have no idea how I missed it, but as I started running around, it eventually found me.
For those of you, who disposed of some enemies by making them fall down, be sure to check the pit.

Oh I don't know..I thought there where some pretty nice items in there. Especially if you have a couple of fighters on the front line.
As far as finding that last one...Some of these spiders are not spawned unless you open some secret areas also.

I haven´t found any key as well and PLEASE don´t tell me it could have been in the ONE spider i made fall down in the pit to level 4!!
