Hello

Ok so I'm not finished the game yet 28 hours game play. But I'm getting close. Now I don't cheat much and like to work it out myself. That's why my game play is so high. But there is one problem I KEEP RUNNING OUT OF BLOODY FOOD. And please don't ask me to go fishing again I have spent more time in the bloody water then on land lol.

How do you get more food without fishing ?

Thanks

Gimpy

Hunt turtles on the beach, wargs in twigroot, hamlet and desert, frogs in the bog, snakes in the pyramid ..

At least 3 of those gaming hours should have involved pharming food and exp in the Herder's Den

There is infinite food available in Grimrock 2:
- There are 3 turtle spawners on Shipwreck Beach that trigger every time you walk through the Hub entrance (cooldowns from 11 to 20 minutes).
- The hatchery in the northwest of the Sewers fills up to 10 fish every time you walk through the Hub entrance (no cooldown).
- Walking over the square in front of the Hub teleporter in Keelbreach Bog triggers 3 warg spawners in Hamlet of Stormbeach (cooldowns from 10 to 15 minutes).
- Walking through the entrance of Keelbreach Bog respawns a couple of toads (cooldowns about 11 minutes).
- Probably lots more cases, in general respawning monsters are everywhere.

I think I'd rather stab myself in the eye than do that.

The key to having enough food in Grimrock 2 is to regularly take a break from exploring and get food. When you're low on food, those 2-3 turtles will not cut it with a 20 minute respawn. Fish from the sewers is probably the best place, but running to and from the secret area is very annoying and time consuming.

Aww c'mon, it aint so bad. A cake walk compared to the time I took my Hibernian Eldritch from lvl 49 to 50 by pharming Phooka's in Dark Age of Camelot.

Oh, God, I'm going to have night terrors about this... thanks. I did that as a Ranger, so I had to do the pulls each time, too!

I had this problem too in my first game.

Just remember that food only impacts health/energy regeneration especially when resting. If you are within vicinity of a save crystal, or have plenty of potions, food in not necessary. Depending on your skill, it's not necessary to eat at all.

As such, save up your food and only use it sparingly before resting.
