I know what I'm supposed to do to get to the Ice Figurine at the Fireball Puzzle in the South East Wormbound Catacombs. But when I press the button and go backwards on the air bridge, I can never get to the safe ledge area on the right before the air bridge collapses. I have done this puzzle over and over again, so many times I'm giving up. There is not enough time for me to make it. Either my computer is extremely slow, which isn't the problem, or there is something else I am not doing right. I even tried dropping 1/2 of the weight of the each character thinking maybe if they were lighter on their feet I could move faster. It has not worked. What can I do here to make it to the lever on the ledge at the end of the air bridge before it collapses?

You can move backwards by pressing S and side-to-side by pressing A and D. (Those are the default keys; you can change them by pressing Esc and clicking on "Options".)

Thanks. I already was using those keys. But somehow after repeated tries after posting this, I suddenly was able to get to the lever across the air bridge before it collapsed. I did not do anything any different than all the other times. But I'm just glad I finally succeeded. I think the timing is way too fast. Even 1 second more would be what I would expect for the game since I am playing the EASY game. Oh well. I won't even try to do any other harder levels.

Difficulty level only affects monsters, it won't do anything to the timed stuff.

The puzzle is impossible if a party member is overburdened.
