Hi all!
First of all i want to congratulate the dev team for the excellent work.
For the players like me that use a Mac and want to play this game here is my experience and scenario.
I have a Macbook pro 15" i7, 8GB RAM with a AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 512MB. Since the game does not currently support Mac OS X i tried the virtual machine Parallels Desktop 7 with Windows 7 Pro. to run it.
The game installs and runs without major problems. Although, the hardware test (the initial, and current both failed).
After 3hours of gameplay i have several small notes to point:
Inside the game the shadows and lights sometimes get a bit weird (strange shapes).
The gameplay is excelent and i don't have any FPS issues.
Apart from these details, everything is perfect.
Although i still want a native Mac os X implementation.
Best Regards,
Orlando

Should try this

I was having Wine problems, so I too used Parallels, then saw that the porting team threw up a wrapper and it fixed my Wine problem. I bring it up cuz I can run all max settings without lag with the wrapper compared to Parallels :3.

I don't suppose you could step-by-step that for me (and maybe others) louizo? I have Wine, but I also have no idea how to use it properly. Any help you - or others - could provide would be much appreciated.
Or if anyone knows how to run it using VMWare Fusion with Windows 7.
2.4ghz, 3GB RAM ATI Raedeon HD2600 SL 10.6.8
I know there's an issue with ATI cards, and I don't know how to turn off the anti-aliasing in either OSX or VM Windows 7.

Just download the wrapper from this topic (More specifically the Porting Team's download)

Then when you first open it, you'll wanna tell it to install software, just point it to the Grimrock install.exe file and let it install. Next time you run the wrapper it'll launch the game.
(You can manually run Wine too, but it's far more advanced)

Thanks Patchumz. I'll give that a shot. I assume you're talking about the version straight from these guys and not through Steam. If I move my save file and fire it up on a PC with Steam at some point, would the achievements unlock? Not an end-of-the-world type question there...
edit: I've used the wrapper from The Porting Team to install the game, but I have the same problem as running it in WM Win7 - it starts and I can only hear the music and see the mouse. Everything else is black. Suggestions?
