Are you returning here from lvl 9 or what? cant figure out anything and just moving down...

and at lvl 9 there is room with 3x4 pressure plates, what's combination/where you can find it?

I am also trying to solve this. Halls of dismantling on level 8 and the checkered room in level 9.

I'm also wondering what to do on lvl 8... The note with the map doesn't help me

Unfortunately in Level 9 I am immediately stuck again at the checkered room. Trapped, ohno!

Ok one tip for level 9: You can burn the curtains that hang on some walls, revealing items and buttons.

Ok this solves the checkered room, but I dont wanna push forward too much w/o knowing how to get into the Vault in LVL8.

I broke every curtain, but still blocked in checkered room. Does it refer to the note saying 2 times left, etc. ? I don't understain how to use it. I Will find !!

Yea i jumped to a conclusion there too quickly, I can't figure out the note either.

The note that is in the checkered room itself isnt really helpful either.
