Hey Grimrock Team,

I like the game so far, even If I don´t spent much time yet and I don´t have any clue how to make my mage cast spells, I just wanted to say: I will find out! I will try to find thing out like in old times, where I played swords and serpents on the NES or similar games. Difficult like hell but I want no help or spoiler, I will simply find a way anyhow.

wow, someone else who knows Swords and Serpents from the NES. Great Game. I still have the self-drawn maps.

To use your mage, you have to right click his glowing fingers/staff, and then nine runes will appear. As you progress you get scrolls that tell you what runes you have to click in order to cast certain spells. Then you simply click the weird blue orb thing, and you have yourself a hot burst of fire. Or some other spell.

Haha, good old Swords and Serpents. My dad used to own that game and I still go back to it once in awhile on an emulator (I haven't beaten it yet)

The monsters were incredibly detailed for a NES game.

Ha - I had several self drawn maps and the came the magazin "maniac" (or something like this) and posted some of them.
