similar to the teleporter you marked in the west beside the ruins entrance

I believe that teleporter is the exit from the Pyramid finale. (i wont spoil it for you, you'll thank me when you get there!) Generally speaking, nearly all of those teleporters that are blocked off are exits from other dungeons/levels, with the lever on the other side (by the teleporter), so you can open it permanently upon completing said dungeon.
