Castle of Nex - 5th floor tapestry

So I finished the game with both endings and was just trying to go around collecting things I may have missed and I was wondering if anyone else has come across a solution for this.

In the castle of nex on the 5th floor (the floor with all the scaffolding and ladders) there are a few tapestries/banners on the walls and there is one in particular that makes no sound when you slash at it with a sword. It looks like there is a room behind it, and on the map it's in the middle of that room on the ground floor.

Anyone find a way past that tapestry/banner?

That tapestry is directly over the stairs leading to the previous level. If you use freelook at the top of the stairs, you can actually see through part of the wall model (since it's one-sided), showing the tapestry from the other side. There's nothing behind it.
