I'm made a mistake killing all spawners in Herder's den. Found another one in Orul's crypt. Sadly no food generation but a short distance to a crystal.

Is there a way to exit Herder's Den without killing all spawners?

Herder's Den is awesome. I left there with my base classes at level 14 and my Farmer at level 20. You can't leave, just put the time in and quite for the day. About an hour of pharming exp per day for a few days and you're good.

I don't recommend farming for experience at all. It's disgustingly slow and also pretty pointless since characters don't really gain much additional power after you have the important skills done.
Anyway, there are monster spawners pretty much everywhere, the fastest ones being herder's den (1 herder every 5 seconds) and
. Spawners elsewhere typically depend on floor triggers and have cooldowns of several minutes.
If you want to farm experience on a character with the farmer class specifically, then doing it in herder's den is really stupid, because there's a much, much faster food spawner: the reservoir in the northwest of the sewers fills up to 11 fish every time you step on square 22,4 in the Hub (right inside the door to the teleporters). There's no cooldown, so you can walk on that square, teleport to Stormbeach, fall down, go eat the 11 fish, then go back to the Hub and repeat. Again, though, I don't recommend actually doing this.

So you think that jumping in water and trying to catch 11 fish at a time, coming up for air, and doing it over again is a "smarter" way to pharm food than simply standing in the Herder's Den and having the spawners send food right at you? Or to put it another way, if given the option to have your exact grocery list delivered to your front door, you'd say that is "stupid" in favor of driving to the store and walking aisle by aisle yourself. Gotcha.
Plus, pharming food in the Herder's Den allows you to level up the rest of your party; whereas your suggestion not only takes longer, but simply levels up one member of the party.
Your suggestion takes longer because eating 11 fish at a time yields less experience than eating 11 Herder Caps. The food you get from the Herder's Den actually gives the most "food experience" to the Farmer class than any other food item. So your suggestion would take nearly twice as long both in consumption and acquisition, and only impact one character. My suggestion is quicker, less complicated (no coming in and out of water for air, no running back and forth between teleporters, no trying to catch swimming fish with your mouse cursor), and benefits the entire group.
Not to mention that players encounter the Herder's Den long before they encounter the Sewers, and long before they open Hub access to Stormbeach.
Lastly, whether pharming is stupid or not, this thread is asking about Monster Spawner locations. Fish are not monsters. If you were attacked by fish, it was probably the games reaction to you pharming for food in the wrong spot
I think you just have a very personal grudge against the Herder's Den for some unknown reason. Dont hate

The alcove holding Bane. Every time the alcove is emptied four fire elementals are spawned in the next room for 275 xp each. Of course you need to be fast to get them all so have your frost bolts ready
