Grimrock

Guys, i could not resist to write this... This game, like the first LoG was really AWESOME. It awake my memories, awakes my long forgotten skills for TRUE dungeon crawlers... It brings memories... Please, continue make games, you are bringing me hope, that CRPGs are NOT dead!

Second that.
this type of game gives me hope that complex developers still exist and can deliver in this modern age.

My dream is, Almost Human get license for AD&D Second Edition, and make a, say, full Undermountain game eh Dreams...
Still, i really like world of Grimrock 2. Have seen two games, and both have very atmospheric and dark setting and story Have not a single doubt, that third game gonna rock too!!!!!!!!!

And one more thing. It is extremely RARE thing (even in Golden Era of RPGs) that a sequel can be called true improvement, while preserving good parts of original game. AH will beat EOB developers, if third game rock too EOB3 was meh

I can make a bet, that i won't have more fun with Dragon Age:Inquisition than i had with LoG2... AAA projects these days do not a have soul.

im not that pesimistic
new dragon age and new witcher seems for me as a must have
also kickstarter's pillars of eternity and new torment will kick ass

and you gotta play something while waiting for a new LoG game

btw, from an endgame perspective, how would you change your team ?

i'd go for
front
double mino barb, muscular + weap spec, heavy + accuracy (and pump heavy til 5, acc til 2, add 2 of armour, and the rest in critical)

back
mino throwing battlemage (for utility spells), muscular + headhunter, concentration + throwing, would pump throwing to the limits,rest on critical
rat missile alchemist, mutation + agile, alchemy til 4, missile to the limits, rest in critical

i wonder if i could handle food consumption rate without rushing for that one chain

I barely started to play the game and I'm all "ohhhh"...very exciting, very, very good game.

I'm still the guy that thinks about chrono trigger as the best game ever, followed by breath of fire 2 and then neverwinter nights. Of course, we can't compare the genres, but after about two and half years playing grimrock related stuff, I can say for sure that legend of grimrock (as a product) is the
most addictive game of all times.

So, hats off one more time and a BIG tahnk you to Almost Human to present us one more jewel. You guys rock!
