Last last boss is impossible trash

The island master is rustling me real bad. I get around 2 inches of his health away and after that all I can find is two copies who don't add to the boss damage counter and the real one who takes 0 damage from everything. I tried gimmicks like taking the stupid balance element and throwing it into the pit to piss him off but nothing really seems to work. Also finding it nearly impossible to go kill both copies since the guy spawns them back almost instantly and they're constantly close together so I don't have any time to kill one and survive magic projectiles from all directions, and getting pushed into spikes

Just keep hammering at him. The shield will give eventually, and he while does raise it up again, he usually takes some time to do so.
When it's down, Meteor Shower the hell out of him.

Also stack as much elemental resistance on one dude and he should be able to bash the Master into submission. Also brew resurrection potions, as they will give full heal (just make sure to resurrect someone else if the max-resist tank is about to fall.
