Need some assistance in Twisted Passage

I've riddled out the castle to this point, and am a little frustrated. Would appreciate any hints as to how to get through the teleportation hall immediately up the stairs. I got stuck, went and did the entire pyramid and came back, and now I'm stuck again.
I notice that there is a pattern that seems to recur every four or five times that a teleporter is stepped into - or maybe they shift with invisible pressure plates every time one takes a step? In any case, I've tried a ton of combinations and can't even get close to the end.

There is no concievable pattern. Remember what you found when you entered the castle. Took me a while too..

No, i'l looking at the Cursed Compass, but it's batshit crazy... keep moving in random direction ALWAYS...

Exact solution:
Never walk in the direction that the cursed compass points. Sometimes it'll go back and forth between two different directions, in which case you have to choose one of the other two. Easy pie once you take your first couple of steps knowing this.

Yeah, that's what i was doing, but sometimes he pointed all 4 direction !
But somehow i manage to do it...

I solved this in a different way.
Took a few steps and saved. Took a few more steps and reloaded if it teleported me back. Repeat until you're through.
But nice to know the proper solution! This had me confounded.

Haha, oh boy, that sounds like a pain in the butt. I almost resorted to that, but the thought drove me mad.
And Klezzon, that's not something I ever experienced once I figured it out, no wonder you were having trouble.
