Any eta on the first patch?

Post by Cancle »

Waiting for the first patch before I continue playing due to Vitality/Willpower level up bug, Knight shield evasion bonus bug, Rouge strength based dual weapons bonus bug.

We're going to put up an opt-in beta branch in Steam (similarly to what we did during Grimrock 1) with an updated build within the next hour or two. After it has been extensively tested by the volunteers and no bugs are found, we'll migrate the update to all Steam users and create new standalone installers and a patcher.

If we patch our Copy of LoG - will that mean we have to start over or is it this time possible to go on with our old savegames??

Old save games will work, although some of the fixes might not apply to them.

Thank you for info!
Sounds good.
Will there be patchnotes for the opt-in beta or will you wait for that until the real update?
