Room before Bane

Any way to select which trap is closed or make it go faster?
Cause as far as i know it just moves to the next after something like 5 minutes and the wait is really killing me

I fell asleep. I'm not sure if the time in the game directly aligns with which are opened or closed, but game time certainly does influence it.

The pits open and close depending on the hour, just like a clock so the pit leading to bane is 12 on the clock and the key is at 6. If you have the watch it tells the time and also has a lil moon/sun dial when you sleep.
