My first was actually walking right into the river and then proceeding have my whole team die of drowning.

It was amazing, I was actually surprised and awestruck I was able to jump into the river and also super confused about what just happened as I was scrambling around trying to get back to land.

For some reason I had assumed there would be another invisible wall impeding my way. Not sure what I quite expected.

Same thing happened to me, except I managed to barely climb out, but then died soon after!

Mosquito swarm trap. I don't want to spoil this one as it was quite the surprise.

First party wipe in Normal mode:
Boss fight in Sewers

First party wipe in Hard mode:
cornered and killed by the first three mummies in Dead Sailor's Cave

First ratling.

Mine was being a little too cocky, having beat everything else, pretty easily - and walking into the Nest, and proceeded to get surrounded so I could not move in any direction, and making a valiant effort (all in vain...)

I think I died at the first boss.
I guess I was just in such awe at the improvement.

Second boss.. well, think it's second, it was actually in a secret area. Stone dudes.

I could have beaten them if I'd had enough healing potions ready but I thought... "secret area, that's just nice stuff right?"

It wasn't just nice stuff.

First death was the stone guardians. Second jumping in the river and drowning.

Died the most at and Both of those were proper save/reload fests.
