Shrine of Pain

Is there a way out of this death trap because I can make it through to the end but can't find an exist anywhere? Is there a hidden switch or am I being trolled?

Well I found a way by swimming and going around to get to the back side of the shrine without going through it. I'm going to bet it's a boondoggle, but I sure don't know. I also found nothing of use at the backside.

There's a switch in the middle of the trap - you have to run over, hit the switch, and then run out the far side. The spikes move in a predictable pattern so you can avoid them, although I did get tagged a couple times before making it out.

any idea on how to get to the chest behind? it's blocked off by a boulder once you solve the puzzle.

There is a hidden switch in the trapped room. It's on the wall of the south-west corner. The chest is locked, you'll need a lockpick.
