Dumb question... but I can't figure out how to cast magic. In the first game you just left click the hand and use runes. Here left clicking does nothing and right click attacks. I thought maybe I needed a scroll to "know" the combo first, but I have a scroll and sufficient casting ability, but can't do anything. Do I need a staff to be able to cast? Surely not...

I'm probably missing something simple here.

Fireburst, click First rune...click the ? mark...it'll become a cloud after you discover it.

Just about like LOG1 for single rune spells.

I mean I can't get the runes to come up at all. Left clicking the hand does nothing. Is this a glitch? In the "instructions" picture, the hand is glowing, mine is not and I can't get it to.

Err, all i can say is my wizard can cast.

Only the Wizard and Battlemage is cast spells from hands, with the glowy hands. If it's a different class you put magic points into, they will need a staff or orb to cast the spells. Also a bit of warning, it doesn't work quite like the first game. Insted of just click symbol 1, then 2, then 3. Instead you have to click one, hold it, and drag to the second symbol, then drag it still to the third and so on to make it.

Wow...that was the problem, I accidentally forgot to pick the last character's class -.-

Oh well, guess I'll restart at the beginning. I only got to the forest so far and that's when it started being a hindrance that I had a character that was basically not even there.
