Eye of the Beholder portraits (HQ4x upscaled)

I had tried searching for some high quality remakes of the original EOB portraits and sadly did not find any, so I ended up extracting the originals and used HQ4x upscaling with some slight editing and then put them against the official LoG background portrait.
Perhaps one day someone with artistic talent will recreate the originals in high resolution, but for now here's my contribution for anyone looking to use EOB portraits in Grimrock.

They did this with Eye of the Beholder 2; several of the original portraits were included as updated versions in EoB2.
How were these extracted? The original art work is a 320x200 CPS file. A tool like "Irfanview" would [also] do a decent job of upscaling the artwork.

Ah, my apologies if there are already prepared EOB portraits for Grimrock. I had looked around for some before I started on these and I only found 8 of them on the Grimrock Nexus mod site, but I wanted a more complete set with sharper upscaling.

I used a program called 'Westwoods Eye of the Beholder Tool' that I found listed here:

I've never used Irfanview - I just used GIMP for the cropping / editing and then an HQ4x filter for the upscaling that I obtained here:

No.. none prepared for Grimrock... just that Westwood released updated versions of some of the EOB portraits in EOB2.
Aha... I know the tool, and the place quite well.
I once took the Chargen.cps and edited in new portraits for EOB, and put that in the Pak files... It almost worked too.

Irfanview is a tool I've used for about ~12 years?
It's a graphics editor that opens most formats, and saves to quite a few.
