So this is It??
Sad so sad..........well all have given up ahy..... All the scripters except Desperate Gamers are here to help.... Is LOG2 ever going to happen??
Now no one cares about anything anymore ahy...... The Komags, Dirmuids etc...... What the hell happened to a once vibrant community?
Have you guys given up?? or is just me...
I guess when LOG2 comes out you guys will come out to ahy.... Then all of a sudden you will be the scripters of the world ahy....Thank god for that....
I miss this robust community cant wait till its back, AH helps us

No idea what you are talling about ...
LoG 2 is done when it's done. Going impatient or rushing AH into an unfinished and thus unsatisfying product is not helpfull.

We're all still lurking around here! There haven't been many scripting questions to answer as of late and, what with XMas on the horizon, time has been a bit short for working on my own mod.
My Grimrock Projects Page with links to the Grimrock Model Toolkit, GrimFBX, Atlas Toolkit, QuickBar, NoteBook and the Oriental Weapons Pack.

Re: So this is It??
I only have a "reduced sight" on this as I have entered the community as an active forum poster just a few months ago. Before that I was more of a "silent reader" of many threads that gave me vital information on how to do certain things in regards of modding. So I have no direct comparison on how lively the community was some months (or even years by now ) ago.
I think it is normal that after some time the player base of a game declines as there are new games published. But even if there are less mods being published than in the early beginnings, I would still call the Grimrock community as very active, because people are still answering if there is something to discuss, this thread itself is a very good example.
If you look on the bright side: The community has created a ton of new dungeons so far that could keep a player occupied for weeks if he would try them all. Many tools, wallsets, monsters, weapons have been created. Technical solutions for modding problems have been discussed and are available in the forum as a reference.
Even if there is not a new mod being published every day at the moment and the forum is a little bit quiet, the above gives me a very optimistic perspective on Grimrock 2. If you still think that people "have given up" can you elaborate more why you think that way?

Ok, I'm just confused. And I do mean confused...
I am the God of darkness and corruption.

Speaking for myself, I've been creating assets for my next mod, and I haven't yet decided on the mod's theme much less started building the actual dungeon. The Curse of Kaefin took a few months to complete. These things take time...

Hi all
No imam not high on drugs as someone put it.. There were so many things happening but what is the point of saying anything... You counter what I say anyway...
1 - Johns Note book. Dat file only.. That has been waiting for months..
2- The so called forest and other wallsets that never happened..
3 - The LOTNR that never happened
4- My project that is so big imam working overtime to make it...
5- The new mods that are coming out are the same as the last except Desperate Gammers mod which is awesome.
6- The only person that is making anything is Odins Balls and Leki.. (forgive des gamers)
7 - What happen to the rest of the Modders, like Komag... must take take a rest I assume yeah.... except for mysblade who put out a awesome mod..
8 - And here is the big 1, AH say, we have money now it will take longer to make LOG2 we will just sit here and take our time making this game of LOG2 and not worry to much..... Well I have to say I have heard this before... better have I have another cone ahy...cough..cough.. yeah... I don't do drugs nor do my 2 sons so stick that./....
9 - Look through the Modding section and see what has started from coders and not completed...
Ah are taking way to long to bring this new version out.. do I have to wait till imam 50 yrs old or is there something more to this guys?? Now AH have joined the big guns (wayside) things will change, I know I have seen this before like all indie games they will die and no one remembers them except the few of us......
