Grimrock

Near the start of the level, where there is a sign that says shelter left, cells right, I go through a short hallway of three cells. At the end is a key door, but I can't find the key anywhere. I also see no buttons, no teleporter that other forums posts have mentioned. Nothing. I know I've got to be missing something obvious, but I just can't find it anywhere.

I would like to know this as well, I've searched the entire place several times.

I can see alot of people are beyond this point so please post how to find the key

well, that was easy

found out that u can pick stuff up trough the cells and the key is located at the second cell with the arrows on the floor
