Hi, have spent the last 8 weeks learning LUA and going through the forums to help put something together.
Have published mod and added one screenshot, but not sure what happens next.

What should I expect next?
How are additional screenshots added?
What if I need to update?

[apologies if this is in another thread....]

Anyway, thanks again for all your help guys.
Will finally spend time playing some of your maps! :)

cheers

Hi Numberouane
[with so many fantasy avatars, must say yours is one of the coolest yet :)]

I have no idea where it posts to, all I've done is export from the editor itself.
Assuming this is vetted by someone before it goes live?

Synopsis:
Team starts in a prison* and has to escape. Inside the prison the Goromorgs adn the Ugguardians are fighting. By restoring six 'items' to either side of this conflict you will affect the gameplay style and the plot outcome. On top of this, you also need to remember who you are!
2-8 hours - has some bonus items in for starting characters, but otherwise recommended for experienced party.

(*contractual obligation of any Grimrock party).

and on Nexus too - seems to be what most people do.
And on the same week I launch my first attempt, Chaos remake is launched - you gotta laugh :)

For the 2 people who play it, enjoy, feedback very welcome. :)

Have enjoyed learning scripting languages again and editing maps. reckon I'll jump on this retro-bandwagon and finally finish my RTC-version of Dungeon Master Prequel on Grimrock instead.

cheers all

Apologies, will keep spam off the threads - got caught up in the happy moment when someone reviews something of mine, and sadly agree that this thread is mostly me talking, so seems a little tragic. Sorry. :)

It's fine about your mod and a review on Steam :) , but I just don't understand the YouTube link to the music video - is there some connection I'm missing :?:

The video? It's only a very obscure reference to "do you remember your first time?" :)

Take 2: The Komag interview. :)

"'Publishing the Prison of the Six' marks a proud moment for me, putting the endeavours of my daily commute to some use and learning the fundamentals of scripting languages again. This reminds me of when I published my first (and only) RTC dungeon several years ago, working on a released console game before that and - going further back - when I managed to get my cheat for DM:CSB printed in 'ST Format' magazine - back in the days before the internet where I was one of the first to be published for showing how to get into the prison bit (something I'll be testing on the Grimrock remake). Very tiny things but to me they are a lot of fun.

So Komag, do you remember the first thing you published on Grimrock? What about before - have you modded lots of things?"
