running out of food

Call me wolverine
but I'm desperately running out of food. I've only a few Grim Caps left but I'm not sure whether they are better used for potions later. Are there any hints but eating less?
My party is now level 10 and we just started the Ancient Chambers. Is there a pantry around?

Hi,
As a matter of fact , there is a room 1 level up before you enter Maze of madness, which keeps spawning Snails.
All you have to do is kill them close the door and walk away to the end of the corridor.
When you come back there are Snails again etc etc.

Oh no. Every time I need food I have to go back to Hallways, Level 5? That doesn't sounds like a good plan to me.

Why Hallways? The Maze of Madness is on floor 6 and that's where you were pointed to.
There is no real need to return. Do one extended visit to the snail pantry, stock up and then go on. There is more food to be found later although it tends to bite back

Now I discovered a wooden box with food behind the Maze of Shadows as well. I think I can leave the snails alone.

Ya i to am running low on food, i go afk to much and i guess they eat while i am afk and i rest a lot so once again i think they eat to much, but i am in level 5 and i am sure i can make it to the snail layer of foodness
