I would love to be able to play this game on my 3DS. the bottom [touch] screen could be used for map making [draw your own maps] similar to the Etrian Odyssey series, as well as inventory and character mgmt.
The top screen for gameplay. Not to mention this game would be great in 3D.
Any chance this might happen?

No, sorry, there is no chance of this happening. No word on systems for Grimrock 2 yet though (but my guess is PC, Linux, Mac, and maybe Android, iPad)

Yeah, they don't even have a physical computer version. (As in sold in a box). Jumping to leaping Nintendo's hoops and releasing a 3ds version would be, well wow. Not happening.
