It seems that LoG's succes has spawn some competitors.
Meet Night& Candles - Legend of Candlewind.

Unfortunetally, i could not find any english site on it. It will be published by german publisher UIG Entertainment is developed by Atmosphere Entertainment Studios, and is scheduled to arrive in second half of this year.

An interesting thing - the polish site describes the new game as " Legend of Grimrock- styled", which is a great testimony to LoG's succes.
However, I think, that AH's respectable competitors could came up with some different subtitle than "Legend of Candlewind".

You know the saying: "Imitation is the best form of flattery.". :)

Looks pretty interesting. I encourage more high quality dungeon crawlers that stay true to good old fashioned fun.
In a gaming world obsessed with reality, it's such a nice experience to play fantasy games that are easy to play, and fun to improve your style with.

Legend of Candlewind is an all-round bad name.
I understand that Candlewind is a city.. but it screams cliche/knock off out of the gate. Especially with Legend of Grimrock really taking all the attention of the "Legend of" kind of game last year.

I will say this, it's certainly not as pretty as Grimrock, but it's not ugly, either.

Diversity is nice. It doesn't seem bad per se though.

Are they fighting through a dungeon or racing through a tunnel to perform their next rock concert? Hopefully there will be options with the looks of characters since they all look like brothers with the long hair.

Good news either way for fans of these types of games. More please.

I have mixed feelings about Size based loot system.
On one hand, yes it makes sense.. A falchion is larger than a rock, but but but... I wanna pick up everything.
lol

Welcome to the new future (the vintage/old-fashioned things/games/concept are - sometimes and mostly - better).

I honestly don't mind the name. Grimrock is a lot prettier, but vintage graphics do have a certain charm.
