[WIP] Unnamed Sci-fi Mod Concept

Hi guys, it's been a while since I've shared anything I would consider 'cool' from my geek den - so I fancied sharing with you the very early progress on my currently unnamed sci-fi mod for LoG. I'll restrict my progress posts to reasonably significant things in the future, but I felt quiet happy with the work so far - I think it proves the concept is possible.

Nice! I've been waiting for someone to create a scifi mod for the game and this looks very promising already. :)

@Antti: There will be a little bit of fudging with skills until LoG2 comes out, but with the new GUI stuff there are loads of things that can be done to evoke the sci-fi feel. Am going to try to get (a) laser guns and (b) hacking of door terminals using a custom GUI mini-game working this weekend!

@Komag & @Antti: Thanks for the support :)

@Leki: Now that is cool! Space Hulk is an awesome setting. Did you play the old Space Hulk game in the PSone days? That was really cool.

On my PC 386dx... It was in 1993 :roll:
I work on scifi mod, but it's not a pure Space Hulk. A new Space Hulk game is under development, so there is not a reason to do the same think. But it's from the same universe atm and If I dont change my mind (there is still System Shock and my favorite Wizardry universe in game...), you will met terminators -- corrupted by Chaos I guess...
But important info is that I plan it for LoG 2...

@Leki: Yeah, I loved System Sock 2. In fact, my mod is going to be going for the sci-fi horror theme mainly - lots of flickering lights and trying to figure out why the crew are all dead... Inspired by System Shock and Dead Space (the original) I guess (although, completely new story, setting and puzzle ideas obviously!).

Thats great - I will turn to Wizardry universe then - I love combination of Sci-Fi and fantasy (Crusaders of Dark Savant is my favorite one).
