Hi!

We have just launched the public beta for 1.3.7. The patch fixes a few compatibility issues on Windows and Mac versions. The beta is available only through Steam so that we can quickly create incremental patches if needed.

To opt in, go to Properties of Legend of Grimrock in Steam, select Betas tab and choose Public Beta from the dropdown.

We'll release the 1.3.7 version to everybody after the beta test has concluded.

Feedback appreciated :)

Changelog for 1.3.7:
- improved compatibility of low quality rendering mode with older graphics cards on Windows (OpenGL 2.1 no longer required)
- worked around an OpenGL driver bug causing missing menu backgrounds on certain Radeon X1600 graphics cards
- fixed issues caused by non-default Windows DPI scaling settings
- bug fix: gui content mouseDown() works only with left mouse button
- bug fix: the game crashes randomly with out of memory error on some Mac OS X versions

I can confirm that mouse buttons are all three separately detected properly now, great, thanks!

- can the shadow boxes for non-enabled party members be removed?
- can we get a gui hook for the map render "onDrawMap"?
- for the on-screen direction arrow icons "onDrawArrowIcons"?

I'd like to black all those out for dream sequences, and I'm sure others would like to black them for cut-scene purposes, etc, to have finally true control for full black-screen 8-)

Hi, we're trying to patch old issues rather than add new features/bugs with this patch :)

fair enough :)

And I'm sure I read correctly "...with this patch", maybe that stuff can go in the next glögg session :D

Thank you for solving this problem. I confirm that this fix works as advertised. The original issue no longer occurs. I was able to reproduce it 100% time for 1.3.6, but it is fixed in 1.3.7.

They'll publish the official update, including for the standalone, after testing this update with the steam folks

Low rendering now works correctly on Windows on my Intel integrated Graphic Chipset, Core 2 Duo generation.
