I'm trying to make a dungeon crawler type game and I can't seem to get the camera right.
Does anyone know what the properties of the camera are set to? FOV (x or y), camera position and pitch?
I know from this article that the tiles are 3m x 3m x 3m. I figured that 1.5m for eye sight was reasonable. The walls look too close when standing one tile away.
Thank you.
What is the FOV set to in LoG?

Thanks for the blog refresher!
Unfortunately, I cannot answer your query, Query. (See what I did there? ohhhhh!)

If you think that 360 degree is view area (lets think in degrees instead radiant) and you can do 90 degree turns, it is about 90 degree as you can see little bit side of the next tile on right or left front of you.
It can not be much less but it can be little bigger like 100 but it would cause such weird turning and cause objects look bigger at closer center view than edge of view or far. It as well depends where you place your camera, is it middle or is it back or front of the tile where you are standing.
I would think it is 90 and placed little bit back from center point to give view front tile.
