It's not beta it's released for OSX now. So it's really late for a beta. Not sure if the developer version includes the OSX version, I have it on PC. But the Steam version includes OSX version I'm playing right now, it seems works even better, perhaps from more memory on OSX than on XP (I know I know the 7 isn't compatible with my computer older than 6 years).
