Mac OS X User says "Giddyup!"

Post by 2Four »

Bought the game yesterday, am running it on a new 2012 Mac mini (2.7Ghz, 16GB ram) and I am pleased say I am going to lose lots of sleep for the next little while. The game is gorgeous even on the low settings (2012 Macmini uses the Intel HD4000 for graphics rendering) and runs beautifully under 10.8.2.

I really like I can mute the ingame music but still retain the dungeon sound FX as I play the game listening to my iTunes music, nice touch.

What really blew me away was the inclusion of the dungeon editor. I had been worried all along that the game developers would not make a mac version of the editor. This is very, VERY impressive.

Well done fellas and Thank You very much for making my holiday extra fun! :D

Just seen it's on Mac, I had already the Steam version (additionally to the developer version). So thanks a lot to the team finally I'll come back to the game to finish it. Happy Christmas to all but a bit more for the team that deserve it. ;)

EDIT: Woo launched perfectly when with Wine I never succeed. Now I'll have to try take back the old saves to continue, I suppose developer version of the game has same saves than Steam version.

Just got the game and wanted to chime in... I'm playing it on a MacBook Pro with 10.7.5, everything looks gorgeous and fine, it definitely brings back some good memories.
So, thank you for your work and greetings to Mellow Chips. :)

Finished the game. Pretty good game overall. Now I want to tinker with the editor...wish I had time!
Is there a way to display stats of the game? I read somewhere that you could display # of spells cast, monster killed, etc.

TIA!

As far as I know, the only way to do it is to check right before the game ends
