[WIP] Cave Tunnel Wallset

This is my first attempt at creating entirely new models for a wallset. The idea came from viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4480 where Trinsinc asked for non-rectangular wallsets.
This is an alpha, there are no pillars and quite a few clipping issues if you know where to look. Also, terrible texturing and general awfulness in design

I'll put up an upload of this tomorrow if anyone wants it.

good concept I think :) Do items disappear under the curving up part of the floor?

I like the idea, but what about the problem of wall-items clipping through the curves?

Another good base material to work with for dark rock is rock_wall_tile

Komag & Rook: Unfortunately items clip through the rounded parts. Have a few ideas on how to sort it, but the best solution would be if we could regulate through commands where in the square items can be put so that they don't disappear on the floor. Wall items are easier, they can be offset to the surface. However, I don't envision secret buttons or even doors in this environment.

Neikun: Yep, but I'm already using that texture for my other wallset :) and besides, you don't get to see much of the Obsidian texture in the original game, and it suited the hard and rough hewn rock face.

Got pillars now too, so the worst clipping can be hidden behind pillars.

Nice work, glad this could be useful for other projects. No doors make sense since in caves there usually isnt a standard door. But what about walls that raise up to reveal other passage ways? no buttons on the walls then?
Also is it possible to make a wall that that rolls into place instead of rising or lowering? Similar to fallout 3 Vault doors without the gagetry. I want to use carved stones to seal off areas.

theoretically it should be possible in some form, just a custom animation

Well, the regular doors from the game work quite well here too, built into the mountainside.

Nice work, flatline. Did you ever get any farther along with this? It definitely has some potential.
