Overhyping

Post by Caspica »

Aren't you guys worried that we are hyping over this game a bit too much? Don't get me wrong, I, too, am super excited for this game! What I mean is that maybe we should keep ourselves and our expectations on a realistic level (and maybe just slightly above it).

I have zero expectations other than in terms of graphics. But I've seen the graphics and know that they are reasonably pretty. Gameplay-wise I am not going to assume anything. All I know is I really want this game to be good.

If the Legend of Grimrock does prove to be a quality game, I'll even go so far as to actually buy it! Moreover, I plan to pay the non-sale price for it, just to support the developers.

I don't know why people even care about things like "over hyping"...has no effect on enjoying a game. On most general gaming forums there's constant arguing over what's over hyped, over rated, under rated, ect ect. Just play and enjoy the games you are interested in :D

Waiting can be painful, frustrating even. Hyping only makes it worse.

But the worse the pain, the better it feels to have it relieved.

Please do! It's a matter of life and death to the studio. :)

I mean must we buy a key or the complete game ?

I feel no worry that if the game is overhyped and got something missed or failed ,AH will do all to give us that what we expect. ;)

My purchase was decided last year; if pre-orders were an option, I'd have done so already.
