Well, we finally did it! After three play-throughs over many (many) hours, my girlfriend and I finally managed to unlock all of Grimrock’s achievements! We’re both pretty chuffed with this and couldn’t resist posting about it here! :D

Again, thank you to the LoG devs for making such a great game!

missing toorum challenge only...

what should be the best way to complete the level 1 within the given timeline? Is luck necessary to make it?

;)

Thanks

Maybe I should play the base game a bit more. Dungeon runner is a hard achievement!

We actually did this with a custom party. Having not tried it with Toorum I have no advice for that specifically but for a custom party I can offer the following tips:
SpoilerShow
* Go with the standard 2 x Fighter 1 x Rogue 1 x Mage setup
* Spec up both fighters in unarmed combat to eliminate the need to pick up melee weapons
* Spec up the rogue with throwing weapons
* Spec up the mage with fire magic (use fireburst often)
* Take a few trial runs to learn the map layout and the location of all the items, mobs and switches
* Only pick up the items you need
* Use a stopwatch to time each run :)

There is one particular section with snails and some pressure plates. We saved some time by making sure the pressure plates were held down with items so that the portcullis did not close as we walked through it. This saved having to click an extra switch to open it back up again.

Some good fortune is required, especially in the herder room.

Good luck!

I will first practice with Ur inputs then switch to toorum

Congrats, Wilfrey! I'm jealous that your gf plays. I have to limit my LoG time to when she's not at home :P
