Just figured I'd have a thread to post all the things I'm working on so I can get come community feedback.
Note: I have attention deficit disorder. I find it hard to focus on one project at a time.
I typically work with in-game files, so most of what you'll find will be new versions of existing things.

I wanted to put a particle effect on the doors, but none of the nodes wanted to take it.
I'll pack up the doors and put them on the nexus today.
But can you guess what in-game texture file I used?

I'm having trouble creating textures on transparent background. Can anyone help me?
Right now it shows up transparent in the GMT, but in game, everything that's transparent is black.

Did you make sure the compression was set to DXT5? And that the alphaTest = true in the material script?

Hmm. Well now it's entirely invisible.
Setting it to translucent makes it a little better.

Doing the uggardian-wraith-mage, I got transparency working by setting the alphatest to true in the materials, as Daniv suggested earlier. I am not sure what compression I used for the textures. (at the moment I save them dds's with Paint.net, but I might switch to something more powerful at some point)

EDIT: And I was using opaque textures -- the others won't take lighting very well.

EDIT2: Also, happy birthday! And cool new slimes!
