Map for my WIP mod.

Post by King Semos »

I've started making a mod, probably going to be called something like, The Lost Ruins of Xaae.

Anyway, it takes place in the Jungles of Xaae which is a Grimrock lore friendly zone as per the Grimrock world map.

It took me only a couple hours to make in Paint. I didn't actually draw it, I took a picture of a different map, and copy pasted sections to form a replica of the specific zone
so I can't really take credit for much of it. But I like the result. It consists of probably 100+ cut pasted sections.

I look forward to see what you can come up with! I like lore mods, having to do with the Grimrock world

There's a typo on your map D:
"I'm okay with being referred to as a goddess."

I fixed the typo, changed the font, and smoothed out a lot of the copy pasted section edges.

Here's 100% crop of the region of the original LOG map if anyone needs it.

I LOVE maps like that, I've spent a long time poring over the world map. Is that a higher resolution than the one we have as a PDF bonus download?
