Unspeakable cruelty regarding your modding policies

Thanks to your genius there is a requirement of defining things in arbitrary ways inside of .LUAs . This in turn is forcing us to accept the proposition that we must buy your asset bundle or we are screwed.

Wouldn't it be just as illegal for modders to share what they learned from the asset bundle? What about the second hand redistribution? In their mods they will copy your techniques anyway.

Suppose it is obvious you do not have links to community modding wikis. Suppose it is obvious you do not have after all this time a single demonstration we can follow to completely define a valid CUSTOM CONTENT.

I spent 9-10 USD on GoG to be cock blocked. I will uninstall your game now.

What on earth are you talking about?

The asset bundle is a free resource designed to help you understand how to make items of your own in the game.
You seem really angry, and I don't know why. Public beta is literally only two days old. There are in fact custom content that has been created by the community, and frankly it's up to those creators as to whether or not to release what they've created.
The is in fact, a modding wiki in the works. It's simply not finished yet.

the only asset bundle I had were those listed in the asset browser.

the editor has these features:
a. drag and drop.
b. select and edit position or facing.

I am angry because I am a Fallout Tactics modder. Also a Fallout 2 modder back in the day. For all the faults, i could at least do something involving more than prefabricated content. Dungeon Editor looks better but the promise of LUA has backfired. I could of modded in 2 creatures in the past hour.

i don't understand ur problem!?! U can mod nearly anything, far, far more than "prefabricated content" ... I think, this should be a good page for u to begin reading: http://www.grimrock.net/modding/

EDIT: And even the Editor can do more than "drag and drop" or "select and edit position or facing." Even small Scripts can be written in the Editor. Those videos gave u a bit of an introduction: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... re=mh_lolz

I cannot comprehend what it is that you're not understanding. Of course the only assets you have are the ones in the assets browser. In order for you to have others, you need to either make some, or place already made files done by the community in the appropriate folders.

I think that maybe you were expecting there to be resources that weren't in the base game ready to go already?
If so, I bring back one of my earlier points, that the public release of the editor is only two days old.

please do some light reading and you'll see it';s nowhere near as bad as you describe. The public will release plenty of stuff for you to use to 'drag and drop' a dungeon together.

You're the kid that got pissed when your lego battleship never looked like it did on the box weren't you.
