Grimrock

Whenever I try to play legend of grimrock, with the latest updates and with a fresh install, on steam it opens and closes instantly, i tried a suggested fix on another thread that involved changing a few values in a cfg file but it turns out I don't have an 'almost human' folder in documents, i tried reinstalling and restarting both steam and windows to no success, I appear to be missing files but verifying the integrity of game cache tells me they're all successfully validated.

I'm getting this exact same problem, none of the files mentioned on the steam support page exist on my computer.

Same problem here, all the particulars are the same too

For me the same problem, hope somebody can help

No "Almost Human" folder in your user profiles documents folder sounds like a lack of permissions to me. LoG uses this folder to place pretty much any user specific data there, starting with it's config file, all savegames, any dungeon editor project and custom dungeons, custom portaits ...

If so do you have any idea how to permit it ?

Run the game as Administrator or use a user account with admin rights.

I just tried that, didnt make much difference
