Increasing the size of the maps

Post by skurg »

Hi,
After the editor relase, I would like to copy dungeons layout based on a different dungeon clawler - demise, but there is 45x45 map size in demise while in LoG it is only 32x32. Is there a chance to increase the size of the maps?

Hi @Skurg, there is a post on the Modding forum which previously covered this (although, that is not obvious from that post's topic!): I likes them big.

From @Petri himself... "Bigger levels would require rewriting the automap so it will probably never happen. Sorry!"

Hope this helps - even if it's not the answer you were hoping for!

The floors in the last version of Demise have actually 90x90 map size. :)
In LoG you must create a real walls between the rooms so this will "eat" a big parts of the maps so 1 Demise floor will be divided in about 4 or 5 LoG floors I guess.
Well if you have time go for it at least for the first floor - the easiest with so many rocks there. 8-)

The last version of demise is a big mistake.
