I just released a new quickie mod I made solely to showcase the cow asset. You can find it in Steam Workshop here:

So you need to have the game in your steam library to download stuff from the workshop? Makes sense I suppose, but still

I can't see every modder mirroring their work onto grimrock nexus just for the GOG buyers.

Well certainly every non-steam modder will.
And a good portion of steam modders say they will be using both platforms.
