Grimrock

I read about this great new iPad game called the Legend of Grimrock and wait for months and then I see that it has been released... for PC? I didn't even know it was coming for PC and now it sounds like you might THINK about doing an iPad version... that's just great....

I give up on future iPad games... All developers please listen: unless you are definitely making an iPad game don't even mention it, this happens way too often...

Have the developers even said they will ever release an iOS version? At any rate I would be supremely surprised if they called it 'an Ipad game' before it was released. If someone else did then I'd be very surprised if it wasn't isolated misinformation. It has been fairly clear for me that this was to be a Windows game.

I see, though I don't see any promises from the devs. The article and thread that follows seems a bit ambiguous at best; it would probably have been a good idea to check the game's homepage for release dates / platforms.

The game was originally being developed for iOS, take a look at the blog back in July last year.

And lastly, we’re hoping on bringing this game for iOS, PC and Mac and possibly some other platforms as well.

Notice how iOS was the primary system back then, it was around August when the game's PC version was first shown,

Eventually the PC became the main/only version being worked on. The iOS version is on hold as far as the AH team's comments have revealed.

iOS is still in the plans (and indeed we had an early prototype running on iPad). We just don't have enough time to work on it right now.

Thanks for the info, it was more than I was aware of. I don't know if it was primary just because it was mentioned first in the sentence, though, and he did write 'hoping'

I have bought the PC Version, but I buy also the IOS iPad Version when available.

I didn't buy the PC version, as I'm still waiting for a native Mac port. I will buy that and the iOS port ... if the wait isn't too long, that is ...

After hearing about this game from my friend, I've been hoping for the Ipad version to hit the store. Should be the perfect platform for it. Hopefully the devs get the time to do it.
