I would like to know if I can replay the game with the same party in hard mode (same party means party played, equipped and leveled on a lower difficulty level before)? If so, how? (I did not find an option for that, only the usual to create a new party or to play with the default characters.)

Also, how do I play with Toorum as a party member once I have "released" his spirit in a previous game?
Oh, okay. No thanks, don't want to cheat, was looking for a way to replay in hard mode with the same party, which would have been a cool feature. Hopefully, one will be able to play upcoming dungeons with an existing party, like an add-on.

It wouldn't be hardmode. Instead it would be super-duper-easy-mode at the start, as you vastly outlevel the monsters and are much stronger and faster.
During the course of play it would start to even out slowly, as you'd only gain 1-2 levels of experience. Having 2 copies of each special item helps, but not as much.
I get your point. What I meant was that I had hoped the hard difficulty mode was really, really tough compared to normal, but apparently it is not. So I will keep hoping that there will be add-ons to continue to play with a party that has already finished the original campaign.

Regardless of how difficult it would be, it would be aimed at a party starting at level 1 without gear. Naturally, a party of level 13-14 fully equipped with gear would have a much easier time than that level 1 party without gear, until the latter party would slowly catch up to the first one.

We can always hope we can bring our party to an expansion dungeon. that is aimed to start around level 13.
