Whatever happened to Mac OS X and iOS ports of LOG?
I was made aware of the existence of LOG when I visited TouchArcade.com, a website that exclusively deals with games based on the iOS platform. That was way back when the game was still in development. I followed the LOG-blog for a time and I seem to remember there were talks about a Mac and iOS version of the game. I was really looking forward to that.
Now that the game has been out for some time I keep reading something about an editor, but sadly no news concerning the Mac and iOS ports anymore, so is there an official status on both the Mac and iOS-versions?
As of now, will there be Mac OS X and iOS ports of LOG or have the plans to port the game over to these platforms been scrapped?
I'm dying to play the game on the Mac - hence the question.

Hi! We're a small team of only 4 developers and we have found that it works best for us if we focus on only a few things at a time. Right now we are focused on getting the level editor out. After that, we'll decide what to do next - Mac/iOS is one possibility but there are other equally tempting options... Patience please

Why can't you just use Bootcamp like everyone else?

Playing on BootCamp mean you also need a Windows license, starting at $120 Home Premium version. You can find cheaper copies, or be a pirate. But it kind of defeats the point of not using Windows in the first place.regomar wrote:Why can't you just use Bootcamp like everyone else?
I play LoG using Wine on my Mac. It works so and so. I can only play in a Window, and I need to restart every now and then when the sound gets screwed up. LoG has been worth the trouble.
But had I a choice I would buy a proper Mac OS X version, priced at $120, in a heart beat.

Windwos 8 upgrade from pretty much any version xp to 7 will be €39... that's a STEAL... so just dump your limited mac boxes and use a real computer

Just always find it amusing to read about mac and linux limitations.. people posting they so love their macs while in the same post describing how they had to "emulate" this or that on some windows emulator (wine it's called I believe)... I mean, just get a pc... it's cheaper, easier to upgrade and runs way more applications...
