Are there lower detail graphic -options for older PCs?

Hey,

This game goes immediately on my Must Get -list.
I have few years old Acer Aspire 9521 WSMi gaming-laptop, 1.6Ghz intel dualcore, 512mb Geforce Go 7900 GS (nearly all few year old games works well on it)
I am worried if the game runs on my laptop as I saw that minimum requirements are 2.0Ghz Intel dualcore

Is there an option to set graphic details low enough to be able to run the game on my laptop?

Im not worried about having bad graphics, I just wish the game runs on my laptop and the atmosphere is way more important than the graphic. :D

I'm preordering the game asap, if I can play it with my laptop.

Thanks for the answer!!

Our resources are quite limited so we can't unfortunately test on all possible hardware combinations. There are however quite a few settings you can lower. You could test with the old compatibility test and see how it runs.

Ok thanks for the answer.

I will preorder the game then, it does not cost much anyway.

There are no downloadable demo available of the game I could test first?

The old compatibility test is no longer available for download on their own site - it has been buried somewhere deep in the internet.

Reason being that the test version is no longer optimal, thus can give invalid results.

Your best bet is to try and google "legend of grimrock compatibility test" or just wait until release.

I bought the game without running hardware test first.

I am surprised it runs very smoothly on my old laptop on high details and 1440 resolution.

I have enjoyed the game a lot so far! Its just pure fun and I love the puzzles.
