The first crawler I played and surely one of the best 3. 2 player game back in 1989... with split screen. Where you could actually see your friend and attack him if you want :) I wish someone makes this mod

A bloodwych mod would be amazing, I will most likley recreate all the maps in game but the best part of bloodwych was the multiplayer and the spell system (for me anyways)

Some bloodwych screenshots..

Graphics where not all that but the game play and dungeons where amazing and like I said multiplayer Dungeon Master what more could you ask for!

Would be nice if any of the devs could advise if a Multiplayer option could ever be a option later on :)

Thats the one :). My best spell was wychwind, a blue flame that was cast in all 4 directions and it traveled around walls, tho when we found the spell, i was around the corner when my friend cast it and all my party instantly died lol. Ask we found a cheat by accident. At the shop, if you buy something, you offer him like a key or just 1 coin where it would normally cost more, and when he asks 'you rip me off' you say yes and get the item. And then get called a clod lol

Multiplayer is a cool concept, but it would also be very tricky.

1) You'd need to draw the 2nd party, and while back in the 80s, showing them off as general blobs was ok, now it's a little weird that they don't match your portrait at all. Race/Gender would probably be doable, but then you'd have to have 8 different images.

2) What if one of the party rests? Would the other party be forced to rest as well?

3) 2 parties would ease up/break a lot of puzzles. They would require their own separate dungeons, involving puzzles that require 2 parties as well.

Still, it would be a really cool feature. I didn't know there was a DM kind of game for 2 players.

The dungeons in Bloodwych where designed around multiplayer so that would need to be done.

As for sleeping it would force your party to sleep but the other party could still continue unaffected, also you could do cool things with your party in Bloodwych like leave a member to wait at a point then go off and activate a trigger and look though the other parties eyes to see if it had affected something making for very good puzzle then just call the party member back

Feels a bit odd to me. Party 1 rests for a few hours, while party 2 explores the dungeon for 10 more seconds before being rejoined by party 1. It's somewhat breaking the suspension of disbelief.

Even leaving party members behind? Well, a multiplayer dungeon would already require you to display characters in-game, so this shouldn't make it additionally hard. I'm not sure this is needed for a good map, though. Exchanging party members, perhaps.

Nah I wouldnt expect the multiplayer part to become true. Just as a single player game would be perfect anyways

if Party 1 Rests and the other player continues on then Party1 will resume in a empty dungeon and have to catch up to Party 2

Not needed but it is handy at times also some of the puzzles you may need to leave a player on a pressure pad and get to the end before calling them back
