By reply, who all here is familiar with H.P Lovecraft?

Can't say I'm all that familiar, but I've certainly heard of the man and his work.

I do know a group that plays the P&P game Call of Cthulhu. Maybe I should look into that...

I read The Crawling Chaos, which included a bunch of stories of his.

I am a huge fan of lovecraft, one of my favorites is Pickman's model.

I've read his book of New England short stories, which was pretty neat. I intend to continue reading his works one day.

Huge fan here! Hard to point out a favorite story, since there are so many good ones, but since Cats of Ulthar was the first short-story I ever read written by him I'll have to say it's my favorite.

Nice, I myself am partial to the Statement of Randolph Carter. Btw, have you ever read Call of Cthulhu while listening to the song by Metallica? It will blow your mind.

On the "lighter" note, anyone played Cthulhu Saves the World?

I was looking at it but ended up never getting it, I bought Dungeons of Dreadmoore instead.
