Grimrock

Hello !

I would like to know if a GeForce 6800GT (old video card nowadays, but still should support DX9 & Shaders 3.0) is compatible with Legend of Grimrock ? Was somebody able to run the game with this video card ?

My brother tried the game HW Demo in order to check if it is working, and he is not able to run the game (he is having a D3DError - D3DERR_INVALIDCALL).
However, he updated his Nvidia drivers to the latest, as well as directX. (He's running Windows XP).

Could somebody confirm or not if a GeForce 6800GT can run the game ?

You'll do just fine....

I have a Geforce 6800GT, works fine for me.

Should at least run on a 6800GT, the Direct X error is common with older cards, just missing a file that's not been required or installed before. The latest patch contains this missing file or install later DX.

It's working in deed with a GeForce 6800GT.

BUT : be aware that the demo (Hardware Test) is not working with the 6800GT because of a Texture issue (which also apply to NV7900), see the following post.
However full game with the latests patches is working properly as the issue has been fixed.

I also have a 6800 and works fine
